Maybe you want to eat on the go in between your Old Town Tour and Castle Tour.  Or perhaps you prefer to relax and take your time. Either way we have you options for you so that you can find somewhere good to enjoy.

Howies - 12–2:30pm, 5:30–10pm

Howies have two restaurants in Edinburgh.  You will find one in the Old Town and one in the New Town.  Howies have a fantastic lunch menu where you can have 2 courses for £17.95 or 3 courses for £21.95.  Because of this good deal Howies is popular with both tourists and locals alike.  Chiefly Howies specialise in Scottish, seasonal and seriously tasty food.

Bubba Q : Sun-Thur : 12pm - 9pm, Fri - Sat : 12pm - 10pm

If you are looking for a hearty lunch we recommend Bubba Q.  Bubba Q is in the middle of the Royal Mile because of this it is nice and easy to find.  It is also close to where we run all of our tours.  As their name implies Bubba Q specialise in making high quality BBQ cuisine.  As you would expect the menu at Bubba Q is meat heavy but they do have vegan burgers and other vegetarian options.  Bubba Q have a variety of deals during the week including unlimited wings.

Social Bite : Mon - Fri : 7am – 3pm

What links George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio and lastly Barack Obama?  They have all had lunch at Social Bite.  Social Bite may be a place to eat but above all it is a charity.   Social Bite are tackling the issue of homelessness in Edinburgh.  They are tackling the homeless crisis through a wide verity of projects.  A notable example of this is the Social Bite Village.  Because of all the work they do we recommend you visit their website to get a full understanding of this unique social enterprise.
