About our Whisky and Tales tour

A little different from all our other products. Our whisky tasting is NOT a walking tour nor a distillery visit, but instead a whisky tasting complete with history and storytelling. This sit-down evening all takes place within one bespoke whisky lounge.

Taste 4 deliciously different whiskies while taking a journey into the history of whisky in Scotland and its profound importance within Scottish culture. Intertwined into the narrative will be a selection of relevant stories told in an entertaining manner by our expert guides.

18+ only. Drink alternatives available on request. Spots are limited.

THE WHISKIES

We have carefully discussed and selected 4 whiskies from what are generally considered the 4 main whisky regions of Scotland. You will be able to enjoy a whisky from each of the following regions – Lowlands, Highlands, Speyside and Islay.

Each whisky brings its own taste and character. As a result, we find that each of our guests comes out of the whisky tour with a favourite region.

Don’t like whisky? We also have drink alternatives, including non-alcoholic drinks!

THE HISTORY OF WHISKY

Whisky has had an incredible influence on the history of Scotland, but the history of Scotland has had a big influence on its whisky too! Throughout this tour, your excellent guide will take you through whisky’s history in Scotland and also demonstrate its importance.

THE STORIES

Going hand in hand with whisky drinking in Scotland is storytelling. Indeed some say that they are the 2 pillars of Scottish culture! So a main focus of this tour is the entertaining stories that tie in with whisky in Scotland.

Stories are told in an engaging manner while weaving seamlessly between history and tastings giving this tour its entertaining edge.

The storytelling aspect makes this whisky tour above all a cultural experience, separating us from other whisky tastings.
